Additional Info:	I have been tuning and repairing pianos professionally since 1970. I started my own business in Manchester in 1975, and qualified with the Piano Tuners Association in 1985. I can tackle most repairs, and I specialize in both regular maintenance and the revival of neglected pianos. Your piano may play unevenly, which usually indicates excessive wear. I can undertake refelting, regulating, toning as necessary when required. Pianos are tuned in equal temperament to A440 if possible, unless you request otherwise.
Fees:	£ 30.00 Pounds Per Hour The hourly rate is applicable after the initial tuning/callout charge, currently £60 for local work. If your piano has been neglected, for example, and requires more than one tuning to achieve stability at A440, the charge is likely to be £90 (1.5 x single tuning price) provided there are no significant repairs needed, and nothing breaks during the course of the work. If any such problems are likely, I will inform you before starting, once I have had the chance to inspect your piano. A straightforward tuning should take about 75 minutes, after which my hourly rate applies.
