Diploma from Newark School of Piano Tuning and Piano Technology, certificate in Music Instrument Technology, with acoustics. Awarded the Val Addis Memorial Prize, while studying at Newark. Worked at a leading East Midlands piano retailer in restoration and tuning over several years. Taught repairs and regulation at The Piano Technology School, Northampton. Currently tuning around Derby, Nottingham, East Staffs, South Yorks, North Leics. Tuning for local piano teachers, plus tuning and repairing education authority pianos. Most work considered. Fees:	I have set fees for tuning, which I prefer to discuss with potential customers; I always give a price before I start tuning or repairing. If the piano is untunable, due to poor condition, I charge a call out fee, to cover my costs; this is included in the price of the tuning if I can proceed. All repair work will be priced separately and agreed with the customer before commencement.
